France - Energy workers strike - June 30, 2024

Energy sector workers went on strike. Unionised workers, led by the FNME-CGT, the primary energy union, are demanding higher wages and improved working conditions. The union rejects the restructuring of the salary scales proposed by the employers. The strike notice, issued on 7 June, outlined a period of striking from 20 June until 13 September.
