Larnaca Port workers and their employer agreed to resolve their differences through scheduled talks overseen by the Minister of Labour. The agreement came a day after workers ended a strike at the port. During an initial meeting the two sides decided to engage in a dialogue aimed at resolving discrepancies and implementing previously agreed measures. The trade unions claim that the port operator Kition Ocean Holdings has violated collective agreements as regards overtime schedules and pay.
