According to CITUB, the FSZ healthcare trade union has alerted top government officials that employer organisations are obstructing negotiations for a new collective agreement in the healthcare sector. Despite legal obligations, the employers have consistently refused to participate in negotiations at the sectoral level, boycotting scheduled meetings. Moreover, FSZ was told that the employers are not willing to engage in council meetings. Instead, the employers propose setting up working groups to assess individual health facilities, a move seen as detrimental to the negotiation process.
