Players for Northern Ireland’s senior women’s and senior men’s teams are to be paid the same amount for participating in international matches for their country. The agreement comes into effect immediately.The new deal – which follows similar arrangements for the other home nations – comes after talks with PFA NI, the Professional Footballers Association in Northern Ireland, and is another significant step for the women’s game.
