The trade unions UGT-SP and FSS-CCOO have negotiated a new three-year agreement covering around 35,000 veterinary staff, running from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2025. Wages will rise by 4.5%, 3.5% and 3% for the years 2023, 2024 and 2025, with a review clause if inflation over the three years is more than 11%. The agreement also includes improvements to night bonuses, holiday pay, mileage payments, annual and special leave and career progression.
