Fashion retailers including Inditex, Mango, H&M, Primark, Kiabi and Uniqlo have joined forces to form their own employers' organisation – ARTE – with a view to defending their interests, which differ from those of the small retailers with which they have previously been associated. Set up early this year as a discreet lobby, Asociación Retail Textil España (ARTE) is now taking action. The organisation has recently announced initial discussions with trade unions about the potential for its own collective agreement.
