According to the Statistical Office, average earnings for August 2023 were € 2,221.85 gross and € 1,441.96 net. Compared to the previous month, both gross and net earnings were higher, in nominal terms by 0.9% and in real terms by 0,8%. Compared to earnings in August 2022, they were higher in nominal terms (gross earnings by 10.7% and net earnings by 9.9%) and in real terms (gross earnings by 4.2% and net earnings by 3.5%).
