According to the Statistical Office, compared to earnings in May, average gross earnings in June 2023 decreased in nominal terms by 0.1% and in real terms by 1.5%,. Average gross earnings in June 2023 amounted to € 2,205.81. Average net earnings were € 1,431.61. At the monthly level, they decreased in nominal terms by 0.2% and in real terms by 1.6%. Average monthly earnings for the first half of 2023 were higher than earnings for the same period last year; gross earnings grew in nominal terms by 10.2% (and net earnings by 10.5%) and in real terms by 1.0% (and net earnings by 1.3%).
