Latvia - Raise of minimum wage to € 700 - November 30, 2023

Starting 1 January 2024, the monthly minimum wage for full-time workers will be € 700. This is an increase of € 80 (or 12.9%) compared to the current rate of € 620. According to data from the Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia (CSP), for 2018-2021, the proportion of workers who were paid a minimum wage or less ranged between 18.1% and 20.6%.
