In the second round of negotiations, the trade union IGBCE and employers agreed on a settlement for the 13,000 employees in the shoe and sporting goods industry. From 1 August 2023, wages will increase by € 200 (Adidas) and € 150 (shoe industry), respectively. From 1 October 2024, wages will increase once more by € 150 (Adidas) and € 100 (shoe industry), respectively. The apprenticeship allowances will increase by € 50 on 1 September 2023 and 1 September 2024. In addition, employees will receive an inflation compensation premium of € 1,000 for 2023 and for 2024.
