Germany - New agreement at mineral oil and natural gas producer - September 30, 2023

The union IGBCE and the mineral oil and natural gas producer Shell have agreed on a new collective agreement. For the 3,600 employees nationwide, collectively agreed wages as well as training, shift and night allowances will increase in two stages. On 1 October 2023 by 4.7% and on 1 October 2024 by a further 2.8%. In addition, the employees will receive a one-off € 3,000 inflation compensation bonus in two stages (€ 1,500 in October 2023 and a further € 1,500 in December 2023). The term of the collective agreement is 24 months.
