Germany - Agreement for agency workers in metal industry - June 30, 2023

After thousands of agency workers nationwide have put pressure on the employers, they are now getting the same inflation compensation premium as permanent employees. In addition, there will be industry surcharges on the temporary work rate from the first day of use. Agency workers in the metal and electrical industry receive an inflation compensation premium of € 2,300 net. This will be paid out in monthly payments from 2024. Employees receive the bonus if they have been employed by the hiring company for at least five months and have been employed at a company in the metal and electrical industry for at least one month.
