France - Unions announce walkout for 13 October - August 31, 2023

After the passage of the pension reform, purchasing power and an increase in wages, pensions and social minima are still the priority demands for workers. The union confederations call for mobilization on 13 October against austerity, for wages and gender equality. One-off measures mainly financed by the government are insufficient to respond to inflation and the increase in costs such as energy, food, housing, etc. The union organizations reaffirm together that this subject requires an increase in the minimum wage and salary policies in the branches, companies and the civil service.
