The average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment for April 2023 was € 1,122, which represented a nominal decrease of 0.7% and a real decrease of 1.7% compared to March 2023. The average monthly gross earnings for April 2023 were € 1,547, which represented a nominal decrease of 0.6% and a real decrease of 1.6% compared to March 2023. The highest average monthly net earnings were paid in the extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas industries (€ 3,625), while the lowest earnings were paid in the leather and related products industries (€ 742).
