Slovakia - Employees at top IT school on strike - February 29, 2020

Employees of the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies (FIIT) of the Slovak University of Technology (STU) went on strike following conflicts between some of the staff and the dean. The conflict escalated when the dean fired his predecessor. The strikers fear that educational quality is in danger of deteriorating at FIIT.
