Malta - 2020: a year to look forward to - January 31, 2020

Prospects look good for 2020. The number of unemployed is at its lowest and the number of employed at its highest since data started to be collected in the 1960s. The Eurobarometer conducted on behalf of the European Commission in the second half of November shows that 81% of those interviewed consider the Maltese economic situation to be good, against just 45% of respondents in the euro area.
