Latvia - Second-lowest minimum wage - February 29, 2020

Latvia has the second-lowest minimum wage in Europe after Bulgaria, according to data published by Eurostat. The Welfare Ministry announced that discussions are currently taking place on a potential rise of the minimum wage to EUR 500 per month in the future, which is EUR 70 more than the current minimum wage.
