Croatia - Unemployment drops to record low level - February 29, 2020

The unemployment level in Croatia has fallen to a record low. One of the main reasons for this development is mass emigration. As a consequence, the country increasingly relies on retirees: from shop assistants to doctors. The number of registered unemployed has dropped to just 128,000, from 345,000 at the end of 2013.
