Hungary -Average wage decreased -February 21, 2014

Data published by the Central Statistics Office (KSH) revealed that the average gross wages fell 1.1% year-on-year in December 2013. The number of benefit supported workers, who earn less than the minimum wage, more than doubled from 203,000 in December 2013 from 87,300 in the same month a year earlier. Excluding these workers, the average gross wage rose 1.6% in December.
