Iceland -Wages statistics updated -June 15, 2013

Statistics Iceland has updated its ‘Wage, income and labour market’ indexes. Figures are provided for the wages in the private and public sector, by occupational group and economic activity for the period 2005-2013. Real wages and changes in the monthly wages data start already from 1989. The real wage index in May 2013 was 0.1% higher than in the previous month. In the last twelve months the real wage index has increased by 2.1%.
