Minimum Wages for Private Sector in Costa Rica will increase by 2.4% with effect from July 1, 2013 to December 31, 2013 - July 1, 2013

Private sector employees will receive from July 1, 2013 wage increase of 2.4%, equivalent ¢ ¢ 2,400 for every 100,000 of the current salary. The National Wages Council approved the salary for the second half of 2013 which will come into effect from July 1, 2013 after hearing the official proposal , issued by the Minister of Labour, Olman Segura. 

 

The binding agreement was achieved with the votes of the representatives of government and the business sector within the CNS.
