Switzerland - Higher pay in supermarket - February 29, 2024

The wage negotiations between the social partners Syna, the Swiss Commercial Association and supermarket chain Lidl Switzerland have been completed. As a result, Lidl increases wages by 2.4%. In addition, employees receive a shopping voucher. According to a company statement, Lidl Switzerland is also raising its minimum wages and offering the highest minimum wage in the industry secured by a collective agreement.
