Luxembourg - Job losses loom at bank, trade union warns - May 31, 2024

Jobs of around 150 people could be at risk after ING Luxembourg announced the closure of retail banking operations, according to trade union Aleba. The bank confirmed that it is closing its mass retail operations in Luxembourg. Some employees who work directly in the retail division “know that there will not be a position for them once the administrative side is finished,” trade union Aleba said but it does not expect job losses to be immediate.
