Full-time employees’ average gross earnings were HUF 605,400 (€ 1,538) and average net earnings with tax benefits reached HUF 417,100 (€ 1,060) in February 2024. Average gross earnings grew by 14.0%, net earnings increased by 13.8% and real earnings were 9.9% higher than a year earlier. Median gross earnings were HUF 491,900 (€ 1,250), median net earnings were HUF 340,700 (€ 866), surpassing the value for the same period of the previous year by 16.2% and 15.3%, respectively.
