The employees of the Saarland metal trade will get a pay increase. IG Metall Mitte and the employers’ association Saarland Metal Guild have agreed on this. Wages and salaries will increase by 4.9% from 1 December 2024. The training allowances will increase by € 50 to € 70 from 1 September 2024. All employees also receive an inflation compensation bonus of € 1,600 (part-time employees pro rata). This will be paid out by 30 November 2024 at the latest. Trainees receive a bonus of € 300.
