Trade union IG BAU has reached a collective agreement for employees in the brick industry in Bavaria. From 1 February 2024, wages will increase by € 155 in all wage and salary groups. From 1 December 2024, there will be an additional 3% pay rise. There is also an inflation compensation bonus of € 700 on 1 March 2024 and another bonus of € 1,000 on 1 November 2024. The collective bargaining result therefore implies a total pay rise of 13.6% on average.
