Austria - Collective agreement for IT employees - February 29, 2024

After nine rounds of negotiations, an agreement has been reached for the approximately 90,000 IT employees for this year and next year. After the exceptionally lengthy negotiations, both employers and unions spoke of a “sustainable compromise under very difficult conditions”. The gross minimum salaries will increase by 7.8% in 2024, the actual salaries by 7.25%, with a minimum amount of € 175. The agreement applies retroactively to the beginning of the year; in 2025, the actual salaries will increase by 0.65% and the minimum salary by 0.15% above annual inflation.
