New figures provided by the union confederation LO on actual monthly salaries show that women in blue-collar occupations have by far the lowest average actual monthly salary, SEK 23,206 (€ 2,020). With full-time as the norm, women in blue-collar occupations would get close to SEK 5,100 (€ 444) more per month. Only 4 out of 10 working women have a permanent full-time job. With full-time as the norm, women in blue-collar occupations would receive almost three months' wages more in a year, SEK 61,128 (€ 5,320), says the LO chairperson.
