Average gross earnings in April 2023 amounted to € 2,181.70. Compared to earnings in March, this represents a decrease of 0.5% in nominal terms and 2% in real terms. Average net earnings were € 1,417.69. Compared to earnings in March 2023, this represents a decrease of 0.4% in nominal terms and 1.9% in real terms. Compared to earnings in April of the previous year, they were higher in nominal terms (gross earnings by 9.0% and net earnings by 8.7%) and lower in real terms (gross earnings by 0.4% and net earnings by 0.6%).
