Average gross salaries and wages calculated for January 2023 amounted to 114,228 RSD (€ 974), while average net salaries and wages amounted to 82,769 RSD (€ 705). Compared with the same month last year, average gross and net salaries and wages for January 2023 increased by 16.7% in nominal terms, and by 0.8% in real terms. Relative to December 2022, average gross salaries and wages, calculated for January 2023 decreased by 0.9% in nominal terms and by 2.3% in real terms. Simultaneously, average net salaries and wages decreased by 1.7% in nominal terms and decreased by 3.1% in real terms.
