Netherlands - 9.25% pay raise for youth workers - November 30, 2023

On the day that a protest and mass strike in youth care was announced, employers and trade unions FNV, CNV and FBZ reached a new collective agreement with a pay increase of 9.25% in 2024. In 2025, salaries will increase by 3% and there will be a compensation for inflation. There are also groundbreaking agreements on reducing workload and improving safety. The new collective agreement has a term of two years and will come into effect on 1 January 2024.
