Greece - Wage costs increase by 6.2% - June 30, 2023

According to the Hellenic Statistical Authority, the unadjusted Index of Wage Cost (not seasonally adjusted and not adjusted for the number of working days) for the 1st quarter 2023, compared with the corresponding index of the 1st quarter 2022, increased by 6.2%, while a decrease of 0.8% was recorded when comparing the corresponding index of 2022 with that of 2021. The Index of Wages Cost for the 1st quarter 2023, adjusted for the number of working days but not seasonally adjusted, recorded an increase of 7.7%.
