Compared to the same month last year, average monthly net earnings per person in paid employment for December 2022 nominally increased by 8.2% but decreased in real terms by 4.3%. The average monthly gross earnings per person for December 2022 were nominally 9.3% higher and 3.4% lower in real terms compared to the same month last year.
