The unemployment rate, presenting the share of the unemployed in total active population (employed and unemployed) in the 4th quarter of 2015 amounted to 17.9%, i.e. 17.4% regarding the male population and 18.4% regarding the female. The employment rate presents the percentage of the employed in total population aged 15 and over and in the 4th quarter 2015, it amounted to 42.4%. Additionally, employment rate of males was 50.0%, while of females, it was 35.2%.
