Finland -Union reveals 20% of municipalities had consultations on job cuts in 2013 -February 06, 2014

A report by trade union JHL reveals that one in five municipalities consulted their works councils over intended job cuts in 2013. In consequence, 300 workers were laid off and 7200 faced temporary lay-off, of an average period of 13 days.
