Hundreds of Wolt couriers demonstrated in front of the company’s offices in Jerusalem.
According to the couriers, Wolt recently made changes to the pay model, resulting in significant pay cuts.
"The damage is due to a change in the algorithm," says one of the couriers. "Until now, distance was measured as distance by air, and the payment for each delivery was 18 shekels plus payment for distance, that is, with increasing distance, the payment increases."
However, in the new calculation, the distance is calculated taking into account the distance traveled by vehicles and other additional considerations that are not visible to Wolt couriers.
