In February 2024, average monthly wages and salaries in the enterprise sector compared with February 2023 increased nominally by 12.9% and amounted to PLN 7,978.99 (€ 1,856) gross. Compared with January 2024, the average monthly gross wage and salary in the enterprise sector increased nominally by 2.7%. This increase was due, among other things, to pay rises, payments of bonuses including annual bonuses, service anniversary awards, overtime pays and retirement severance pays, (which, in addition to base salaries, are also included among the components of wages and salaries).
