Netherlands - Collective agreement for horticulture - January 31, 2024

Union FNV has closed a collective agreement for employees in greenhouse horticulture. Salaries will increase by a total of 7.2% in fifteen months. This will happen in three steps: the workers in the greenhouses will receive an additional 4% in January, 1.7% in July and the last 1.5% on 1 January 2025. Some employees will receive some extra salary, on top of the 7.2% wage increase. This is due to the adjustment of the wage structure to the new minimum wage, which came into effect on 1 January. The Greenhouse Horticulture collective agreement covers approximately 35,000 employees.
