Liechtenstein - Union supports proposal for parental leave - February 29, 2024

The government has submitted a new proposal for paternal leave. For two of the four months of leave the allowance will be 100% (with a maximum of CHF 4,760 or € 4,967) instead of 50%. Furthermore, the trade union LANV’s suggestion that the 20-week maternity leave can be transferred to the father in the event of the mother's death was adopted. Moreover, the union welcomes that the leave allowance itself is increased.
