After long and intensive negotiations, the employers' association AGE and the trade union IG BAU agreed on a collective agreement for purchase and sales cooperatives. Wages will rise by 4% from March 2024. From October 2024, wages will increase by a further 2.5%. The basic salary for trainees and interns increases by € 100. In addition, there is a tax-free inflation compensation bonus of € 800 which will be paid in March 2024. Part-time employees receive this proportionately. The collective agreement has a term of 10 months from 1 March 2024 until 31 December 2024.
