Technicians working in the master control room at the trilingual broadcaster France 24 are protesting against an increase in their workload without a pay rise. The reboot of France 24, with a new programming schedule, had been postponed for a week to minimize any disruption to its new look and schedule. Since then, the broadcaster's channels have experienced daily turmoil, as more shifts have been affected by the strike. While a meeting was scheduled between management and its employees only the third meeting in the two-and-a-half weeks of strikes, the end of the action does not yet seem to be in sight.
