The average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment for November 2023 amounted to € 1,208, which compared to October 2023 represented a nominal increase of 2.5% and a real increase of 2.6%. The average monthly gross earning was € 1,679; a nominal increase of 3.0% and a real increase of 3.1%, as compared to October 2023. Compared to November 2022, the average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment for November 2023 were 15.0% higher in nominal terms and 9.8% higher in real terms. The average monthly gross earnings were 17.3% higher in nominal terms and 12.0% higher in real terms, as compared to the same month of the previous year.
