Sweden - Gender pay gap almost 10% - June 30, 2023

The pay gap between women and men in 2022 was 9.9%. This means that no change has taken place compared to 2021. This is shown by a new report from the Mediation Institute (Medlingsinstitutet). Since 2019, the pay gap has only shown small variations over the years. In 2019, the trend was interrupted by reduced pay differences between women and men. Since then, there have been only minor changes to the wage gap. Women's average monthly salary in 2022 was SEK 36,200 (€ 3,065), which is 90.1% of men's SEK 40,200 (€ 3,404).
