According to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, average gross salaries and wages in July 2023 were 115,664 RSD (€ 986), while average net salaries and wages amounted to 83,781 RSD (€ 714). The increase of gross and net salaries and wages in the period January–July 2023, relative to the same period last year amounted to 15.3% in nominal terms and 0.3% in real terms. Compared to the same month last year, average gross and net salaries and wages for July 2023 increased by 14.6% in nominal terms, and 1.9% in real terms.
