According to the Statistical Office, average gross salaries and wages in March 2023 amounted to 117,669 RSD (€ 1,003), while average net salaries and wages were 85,485 RSD (€ 729). Compared to the same period last year, gross and net salaries and wages increased by 15.5% in nominal terms and decreased by 0.4% in real terms in the period January–March 2023. Compared with the same month last year, average gross and net salaries and wages increased by 14.5% in nominal terms, and decreased by 1.5% in real terms in March 2023.
