After two waves of warning strikes and an exploratory talk, the trade union NGG and the employers have agreed on a collective agreement for employees in the fruit and vegetable processing industry in North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition to significant wage increases there is an inflation adjustment premium of € 1,600 euros. Wages will increase in two steps by a total of 8%. On 1 September 2023 there will be 7% increase and from 1 December 2023 there will be another 1% increase. The duration of the collective agreement is 12 months.
