According to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, the average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment for July 2023 amounted to € 1,141, which represented a nominal decrease of 0.8% and a real decrease of 1.0%, as compared to June 2023. The average monthly gross earnings per person was € 1,580, a nominal decrease of 0.6% and a real decrease of 0.8% as compared to June 2023. The highest average monthly net earnings are paid in air transport (€ 1,949), while the lowest earnings were paid in manufacturing of wearing apparel (€ 752).
