Austria - Agreement for security industry - November 30, 2023

The trade union vida and the association of commercial service providers agreed in the third round on a collective agreement for the approximately 15,000 employees in the security industry. The minimum wages and allowances will increase by 9.2%, and the night allowance will be increased by 37%. The head of negotiations on the employer side pointed to the extremely demanding economic conditions and stated that the agreement is at the limit of what the employers can afford.
