A new report from the TUC union confederation set out a framework on delivering a high-wage economy. It is underpinned by a plan to raise the minimum wage to £15 (€17.55) an hour as soon as possible so that no workers are left behind. The report demands a plan to strengthen and extend collective bargaining across the economy, including introducing fair pay agreements to set minimum pay and conditions across whole sectors.
