Turkey - “White” demonstration for better pay and conditions - May 31, 2022

In Ankara, about a thousand health workers from all over Turkey came together at a rally held at the call of the Turkish Medical Association (TTB). The paramedics, who attended the rally in white coats, vests and T- shirts demanded better pay and conditions. The European Public Service Union, EPSU, sent a solidarity letter to the Trade Union of Employees in Public Health and Social Services (SES) and DISK. EPSU strongly supports the union’s fight to improve its members’ pay and conditions and ensure that health workers' purchasing power is protected against the sharp rise in inflation.
